Lando Norris in the pole position for the Monaco GP 2025

After an incredible last push in Q3, which saw the McLaren driver overtake home favorite Charles Leclerc in the closing stages of the session, Lando Norris will start in the front row of the Monaco GP 2025 starting grid. Norris, Leclerc, and Oscar Piastri engaged in a fierce three-way battle in the last qualifying round at Monte Carlo, with the lead switching hands many times. With a 1:10.063, Leclerc had momentarily topped the timesheets with his Ferrari, but Norris passed him by 0.109 seconds.

Max Verstappen, who complained of a lack of grip throughout qualifying, could only achieve fifth place, while Lewis Hamilton grabbed fourth place with a good lap in the final laps. But for obstructing the Dutchman, Hamilton received a grid penalty of three positions. Hence, Isack Hadjar of Racing Bulls will be fifth in the line while Verstappen gets moved up to fourth place.
