Leclerc commits to Ferrari with new long‑term deal

Ferrari has officially confirmed that Charles Leclerc will continue with the team for the coming Formula 1 seasons, strengthening a partnership that began long before his debut in the sport. The announcement arrives in the week of the Monaco Grand Prix, adding symbolic weight to a renewal that underscores Ferrari’s confidence in its leading driver. Leclerc joined the Ferrari Driver Academy in 2016, rose through the ranks with a Formula 2 title in 2017, and reached Formula 1 in 2018 before securing a full‑time seat with Ferrari in 2019. Since then, he has delivered memorable victories, pole positions and podiums, becoming a central figure within the team.

At 28, he already ranks second in Ferrari history for both Grand Prix starts and pole positions, trailing only Michael Schumacher. Although Ferrari has not disclosed contract length, it is certain Leclerc will remain with the team through 2027, reaffirming a bond stronger than ever.
