Bangladesh women prepare for landmark England series

Bangladesh Women will make history in September 2027 with their maiden bilateral tour of England, confirmed by the ECB as part of its upcoming international schedule. The six‑match white‑ball trip features three T20Is and three ODIs, beginning with the opening T20I in Northampton on September eight, followed by games in Taunton and Worcester. The ODI leg will take the team to Hove, Canterbury and Chelmsford across a twelve‑day stretch.

The tour aligns with Bangladesh Men’s return to England for a one‑off Test at Lord’s in May 2027, their first red‑ball appearance in the country since 2010. ECB chief executive Richard Gould welcomed both visits, stressing their value in strengthening cricketing ties.

For Bangladesh Women, the series represents a milestone opportunity to test themselves in English conditions and expand their global footprint. It is a long‑awaited step forward, and one the team is eager to embrace.
