Zimbabwe women to break new ground with first‑ever Pakistan tour

Zimbabwe Women will embark on their first‑ever tour of Pakistan, a landmark trip featuring three ODIs followed by three T20Is. The ODI leg begins on May 3 and contributes to the opening phase of the ICC Women’s Championship 2025‑29, giving both sides an early chance to strengthen their positions in the new cycle. The T20I contests are scheduled to start on May 12, completing a compact tour entirely hosted at Karachi’s National Bank Stadium.

Pakistan enter the series sitting fifth in the Championship table after a narrow 2‑1 home defeat to South Africa, while Zimbabwe hold seventh place following their recent losses to New Zealand. The visitors are expected to land in Pakistan on April 29, allowing a brief preparation window before competition begins. The tour marks a significant step for Zimbabwe as they continue expanding their international footprint and gaining exposure against higher‑ranked opposition.
