Bezzecchi enjoys hot streak but refuses any title talk

Marco Bezzecchi arrives in Austin riding a wave of confidence after opening the season with back‑to‑back victories, extending his Sunday winning streak to four when counting the final rounds of last year. Yet the Italian insists he is not entertaining championship discussions, stressing that the calendar still holds around 40 races between Grands Prix and Sprints.

Bezzecchi acknowledged the challenge awaiting him at the Circuit of the Americas, a track where Marc Márquez has historically dominated, but said he feels energised by the atmosphere and the demanding layout. He described COTA as long and physically taxing, with 20 corners, heavy braking zones and constant bumps that prevent riders from ever relaxing. Despite leading the standings, he refuses to label himself a favourite, noting that it is too early to judge the balance of power between manufacturers. His focus, he said, remains on consistent work with a team in which he feels fully supported.
