Cadillac has inked an agreement with Sergio Perez to bring the Mexican driver back to Formula One next year. As early as next week, Cadillac is anticipated to unveil its 2026 lineup, which includes Perez and Valtteri Bottas. After a difficult year with Red Bull, Perez left the Formula One grid at the end of the 2024 season, although he has stated that he would be eager to return to the appropriate project. Earlier this week, the team announced that Bottas has joined the team, making an F1 comeback in the process.
The grid will include more than ten teams for the first time since 2016, when Cadillac joined the field the following season. As the summer break draws to a close, the formal announcement of its driver lineup will be made.
