Leclerc Eyes Progress as Ferrari Bring Upgrades to Bahrain

Charles Leclerc remains hopeful that Ferrari can begin closing the gap to front-runners McLaren and Red Bull as new car upgrades debut at the Bahrain Grand Prix. Currently sitting fourth in the Constructors’ standings, Ferrari has struggled to keep pace early in the season. A double disqualification for Leclerc and teammate Lewis Hamilton in China further hampered their points tally.

Speaking ahead of the Bahrain race, Leclerc revealed that the SF-25 will feature new components aimed at boosting performance. However, he cautioned against expecting immediate results. “I think we are going to be where we were before, more or less,” Leclerc said. “Hopefully the gap will be a bit smaller, but I don’t think it’s enough to be at McLaren or Max’s level yet.” The Monegasque remains optimistic that gradual improvements will help Ferrari become more competitive in the coming races.
