Fabinho reunites with Salah at Trabzonspor

Fabinho has officially joined Trabzonspor, reuniting with Mohamed Salah after the Turkish club announced his arrival on Monday. The Brazilian midfielder, a free agent following his departure from Al Ittihad, was welcomed with a video showing him in club colours after landing on a private jet. Fabinho said a “familiar face” awaited him in Trabzon, referencing Salah, who signed earlier this summer and has already scored twice, leading the team to an unbeaten start.

Trabzonspor invited supporters to greet the Brazilian at the airport, echoing the extraordinary reception given to Salah, who was welcomed by an estimated 25,000 fans. The pair will not be joined by Darwin Núñez, whose proposed move collapsed; the striker is instead set to join Al Diriyah on loan from Al Hilal.
