The Pakistan Super League will usher in a new era in 2026, with the tournament scheduled from March 26 to May 3 and expanding to eight teams for the first time. Hyderabad Kingsmen and Rawalpindi Pindiz join the competition, adding fresh intrigue to a season that begins just two days before the IPL. The revamped format features 44 matches across 39 days, with each side playing ten league games before the top four advance to the playoffs starting April 28. Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium will stage fifteen fixtures, while Rawalpindi hosts eleven, and Faisalabad and Peshawar make their long‑awaited debuts as PSL venues.
The first qualifier is set for April 28 in Rawalpindi, followed by two eliminators in Lahore on April 29 and May 1. The final will take place on May 3, with May 4 reserved as a backup date, underscoring the league’s growing scale and ambition.
