Lance Stroll has mocked his own team's performance

The team, having switched from Mercedes to Honda power units, anticipated some initial hurdles, yet finding themselves four seconds off the pace was unexpected. While veteran Fernando Alonso, typically known for his vocal dissatisfaction during struggles, has surprisingly chosen to shield the squad from criticism, his teammate Lance Stroll has taken a different approach.

The usually reserved Canadian expressed his frustration through biting sarcasm regarding the new AMR26. When asked to identify positive aspects of the vehicle, Stroll mockingly replied that the livery looks very nice. This sharp comment highlights the tension within the Silverstone-based outfit after missing crucial shakedown mileage.

Despite the gloom, Stroll noted that only time will reveal their true potential, emphasizing that the team must now focus on making incremental improvements with every single lap to overcome this difficult start.
