VR46 Ducati rider Fabio Di Giannantonio highlighted the significance of the recent Valencia test, describing it as his first genuine opportunity to influence the manufacturer’s development direction. Now competing as a factory-supported rider for the 2025 season, Di Giannantonio focused on cross-referencing his on-track sensations with Ducati’s engineering calculations.
He finished seventh overall and expressed satisfaction that his feedback "matched perfectly" with the team's theoretical data, confirming that their development strategy is on the right track. While acknowledging that Valencia is not the ideal testing ground due to track conditions and end-of-season fatigue, he emphasized the importance of establishing this baseline. Regarding his previous struggles with the GP25’s front-end feel, Di Giannantonio noted that it is too early for immediate fixes, as the necessary new parts will not arrive until next year.
