Lando Norris needs to improve his consistency

Lando Norris needs to improve his consistency if he wants to win a world championship, according to former Formula One driver Martin Brundle. After a challenging weekend at the Canadian Grand Prix, Brundle gave Norris a model to strive for: four-time champion Max Verstappen.

In the last stages of the race in Montreal, Norris was vying for fourth place with teammate and championship challenger Oscar Piastri. Norris was eliminated from the grand prix after colliding with Piastri's car's rear as he attempted to make a move on the inside at Turn 1. Now sitting 22 points down on Piastri, Norris has been told he can't afford more mistakes akin to the one in Canada in his bid to become an F1 champion. “Lando won’t win a world championship unless he can stop these weekends happening,” Brundle told Sky F1.
