One of the all-time greats in League of Legends is returning to the professional arena. Jian "Uzi" Zi-Hao rejoins Edward Gaming and will serve as the team's starting AD carry during the 2023 LPL Summer Split. As they attempt to once more enter the title conversation, the 26-year-old will be teamed in the bottom lane by veteran Tian 'Meiko' Ye.
Although this is Uzi's first comeback to the ring, he hasn't participated in a full split since he announced his retirement in 2020 with Royal Never Give Up. The gifted youngster joined Bilibili Gaming as Chiu "Doggo" Tzu-Chuan's backup marksman last year. He ended up participating in about nine games for the team before retiring to the sidelines for the rest of the season. With a 1-3 series record, Edward Gaming is currently positioned close to the bottom of the LPL regular season standings. Next week, they will compete against Invictus Gaming, giving Uzi his first opportunity of the year to spread his wings and shake off the rust.
