Real Madrid have received encouraging news on the injury front, with Ferland Mendy and Éder Militão joining their teammates for collective training on Monday ahead of the trip to Rome.
Footage released by the Spanish club showed both defenders participating in ball exercises at Ciudad Real Madrid, marking another step towards their respective returns.
Militão has been back in group training since September 28, but manager José Mourinho recently indicated that the Brazilian still needed additional time to regain full fitness, ruling him out of the Villarreal, Roma and Sevilla fixtures.
Mendy also participated briefly in Friday’s session. However, the French left-back is not registered for Madrid’s Champions League campaign, limiting his availability for European competition.
Meanwhile, players involved in the 1-0 victory over Villarreal completed individual recovery work. Raúl Asencio and Rodrygo continued their rehabilitation programmes as Madrid prepare for today’s crucial European test against Roma.
