Manchester United announces departure of Jadon Sancho and five other players

Manchester United have officially confirmed the group of players leaving the club at the end of the 2025‑26 season, headlined by Jadon Sancho, Casemiro and Tyrell Malacia. Sancho departs five years after arriving from Borussia Dortmund for £73 million, having made 83 appearances, scored 12 goals and delivered six assists. His recent career included loan spells at Dortmund, Chelsea and Aston Villa before United opted not to renew his contract expiring this June.

Casemiro also exits after four seasons at Old Trafford, during which he played more than 150 matches and helped secure the League Cup and FA Cup. The Brazilian bid farewell to supporters following the final game of the campaign.

Malacia leaves after four years marked by a promising start derailed by a serious knee injury. United also confirmed the departures of academy players Sonny Aljofree, James Beadle and Malachi Sharpe, pledging support as they seek new opportunities.
