PSG clinch fifth straight Ligue 1 title with win over Lens

Paris Saint‑Germain secured their fifth consecutive Ligue 1 crown after defeating Lens 2–0 in a decisive midweek clash, confirming their fourteenth league title. The champions, led by Luis Enrique, became mathematically unreachable with one match remaining thanks to goals from Kvaratskhelia and Mbaye. Lens, who had pushed PSG throughout the season and even topped the table at times, ultimately could not match the Parisian side’s relentless late‑season form.

Since reclaiming first place on matchday twenty‑three, PSG have produced eight wins and one draw, tightening their grip on the championship. Enrique’s team have led the standings in twenty‑four of thirty‑four rounds and now turn their attention to the Champions League final against Arsenal as they chase back‑to‑back European titles. Domestically, PSG have collected seventy‑six points from twenty‑four victories, four draws and five defeats, scoring seventy‑two goals and conceding twenty‑seven. Their only setback was an early Coupe de France exit to Paris FC.
