Bayern fear Saudi interest as Kane future remains open

Uli Hoeness has confirmed Bayern Munich’s desire to extend Harry Kane’s contract beyond 2027, while acknowledging the lingering threat of a lucrative Saudi approach. Since arriving in 2023, Kane has become the undisputed centrepiece of Bayern’s attack, producing an extraordinary 133 goals and 29 assists in 136 matches. His influence has made tying him down a strategic priority for the club.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Hoeness described it as “a dream” to keep Kane long‑term, emphasising how settled the striker and his family feel in Munich. Yet he also conceded that external forces could complicate matters, noting that a massive Saudi bid could alter the situation.

For now, Kane has postponed any decision until after the World Cup, effectively pausing negotiations. That leaves Bayern navigating a period of uncertainty, hoping their star forward commits to staying rather than considering a final, financially tempting move elsewhere.
