Manchester United have opened formal discussions with Ajax regarding a potential transfer for Belgian winger Mika Godts, according to journalist Sacha Tavolieri. The 20‑year‑old has been a standout performer in the Eredivisie this season, leading the league in goal contributions with 14 goals and nine assists across 25 matches. Since joining from Genk in 2023, he has amassed 22 goals and 18 assists in 102 appearances in all competitions.
A move to Old Trafford would place Godts among a familiar group of Ajax alumni who later joined United, including Donny van de Beek, André Onana and Daley Blind. The Belgian youth international is under contract with Ajax until June 2029, and his market value is currently listed at €25.2 million.
Should negotiations advance, Godts could become one of United’s most significant long‑term investments as the club continues targeting emerging European talent.
