Juventus target Hungarian talent Kovacs

Juventus are stepping up their pursuit of Hungarian prospect Bendegúz Kovacs after the AZ Alkmaar midfielder impressed club scouts with his recent performances. The Italian side has opened early talks in an effort to move ahead of other European teams tracking the 19‑year‑old, who is viewed as one of Hungary’s most promising young players.

AZ, however, are not prepared to let him go easily. The Dutch club are working on a contract extension to secure his long‑term future and fend off growing interest from abroad. Kovacs’ technical quality, rapid development and maturity have made him an attractive target for clubs seeking to invest in emerging talent.

For Juventus, the move aligns with their strategy of strengthening the squad with young players capable of contributing to a long‑term project. More clarity is expected in the coming weeks as negotiations progress and the club evaluates how aggressively to pursue the deal.
