NEC Nijmegen finally stun PSV and clinch spot in Dutch Cup final

In a thrilling KNVB Beker semifinal, NEC Nijmegen upset Eredivisie leaders PSV with a dramatic 3-2 victory to reach their sixth cup final. The hosts capitalized early when Bryan Linssen punished a mistake by goalkeeper Matej Kovar in the sixth minute. PSV responded swiftly; Ismael Saibari equalized with a header before Dennis Man soloed through to give the visitors a 2-1 lead. However, NEC fought back before halftime as Eli Dasa volleyed home an equalizer in an action-packed first half that ended with Saibari hitting the post.

The offensive intensity continued after the break. While Cillessen denied PSV’s attackers, NEC reclaimed the lead in the 60th minute when Basar Önal tapped in Noe Lebreton’s cross. Despite controlling 75% possession, the reigning champions faded late on. Ivan Perisic missed a crucial late chance, sealing PSV's exit. NEC will now face AZ or Telstar in the April 19th final at De Kuip.
