DPlus KIA has sparked debate in the League of Legends community by naming Kim “cvMax” Dae-ho as its new head coach ahead of the LCK Summer Split. Known for his intense and demanding coaching style, cvMax remains a polarizing figure despite his reputation for developing young talent.

CvMax began as a player for Samsung Galaxy Blue before transitioning to coaching. He gained prominence with Griffin, leading them to an undefeated CK Spring in 2018 and promotion to the LCK.
