The seven-time world champion reflected on life at Ferrari

Lewis Hamilton was caught off guard at the Miami Grand Prix when asked about friend David Beckham turning 50. After a brief pause, Hamilton praised Beckham’s accomplishments post-retirement, perhaps reflecting on his own legacy as he nears the end of his Formula 1 career. With seven world titles and a record number of race wins, Hamilton’s move to Ferrari in 2025 hasn’t gone as hoped. 

Aside from a sprint win in Shanghai, the 40-year-old has struggled, prompting retirement talk from pundits like Ralf Schumacher. Still, Hamilton remains focused on improving with Ferrari. Despite upcoming off-track duties like co-chairing the Met Gala, his priority is clear. When asked about his outfit for the event, he simply replied, “I don't even know. I've not really put much thought into it.”
