Teams around the world are competing for fame and glory

As the 2024 League of Legends season progresses, teams worldwide vie for success in their Winter and Spring Splits, aiming for a coveted spot at the Mid-Season Invitational (MSI). Held in Chinese Chengdu this year, MSI welcomes top teams from each region, with the top four securing two spots each.

Riot Games' revamped format introduced in 2023, featuring two stages with a loser’s bracket, has garnered praise from players and fans alike. Winners of MSI qualify for Worlds 2024, with the runner-up region earning an extra seed for their domestic league. G2 Esports dominated the LEC Winter Playoffs, securing at least a Play-In spot for MSI. Team Liquid's remarkable lower bracket run earned them a spot in the bracket stage. In the LPL playoffs, Bilibili and Top Esports are favorites to qualify for MSI, with Ninjas in Pyjamas facing a lower-bracket challenge.
