Real Madrid tops global football brand value rankings

The combined value of the world’s 50 strongest football brands has reached a record €23.9 billion in 2024, marking the largest annual rise since Brand Finance launched its Football 50 ranking fifteen years ago. At the summit sits Real Madrid, whose brand has surged 25% to €2.4 billion, reinforcing its status as the sport’s most powerful commercial force.

Barcelona follow in second place at roughly €2 billion, boosted by their return to Camp Nou and back‑to‑back Liga titles. Arsenal complete the podium, climbing from fifth to third thanks to sustained on‑field progress.

Bayern Munich and Paris Saint‑Germain share fourth place at €1.5 billion, alongside Premier League giants Liverpool and Manchester City. Manchester United occupy eighth position, while Chelsea and Borussia Dortmund round out the top ten.

The ranking features only clubs from La Liga, the Premier League, the Bundesliga and Ligue 1, underscoring the commercial dominance of Europe’s major leagues.
