Russell triumphs in Austria, Verstappen and Antonelli in a thriller

George Russell claimed his second win of the season with a tense Austrian Grand Prix victory, edging Max Verstappen and championship leader Kimi Antonelli in a gripping finale. The Mercedes driver now moves to second in the standings, 41 points behind Antonelli, while Oscar Piastri finished fourth. Russell controlled much of the race but came under heavy pressure from Verstappen, who surged forward from fifth, and Antonelli, seeking redemption after his Spanish retirement. Ferrari endured a difficult afternoon despite strong qualifying.
