FIFA launches real-time rankings for 2029 Club World Cup

FIFA has launched a new digital platform allowing fans to monitor, in real time, the rankings that will determine qualification for the expanded 2029 Club World Cup. Continental champions such as Flamengo, PSG and Al‑Ahli have already secured their places, while the remaining berths will be filled through performance‑based rankings. In CONMEBOL, Palmeiras lead with fifty‑three points, ahead of already‑qualified Flamengo on fifty‑one and LDU on forty‑four, with results from the 2025‑28 Libertadores forming the basis of the standings. Several Brazilian clubs remain in contention, though the region is expected to receive six slots, with a two‑team‑per‑nation cap unless additional sides win continental titles.

Brazil is among the frontrunners to host the tournament, competing with Spain, Morocco and Qatar. In UEFA, Arsenal top the table with 103 points, followed by PSG, Bayern Munich, Barcelona and Liverpool. Chelsea, champions of the 2025 edition, are notably absent from the current ranking.
