Fenerbahçe plans to retrieve Akçayışık from Al Hilal

Fenerbahçe are exploring a move to re-sign young defender Yusuf Akçayışık from Al Hilal, with Turkish reports indicating positive signals from the player’s side. According to Fotomac, the 20‑year‑old has emerged as a priority target for the club’s 2025–2027 project, and management intend to submit a formal offer during the upcoming summer window. Akçayışık, who left Istanbul at the start of the current season, is reportedly open to returning on loan.

His reduced involvement at Al Hilal has fuelled the possibility of a deal, with restrictions on foreign players limiting his opportunities. The Saudi club invested €22 million to sign him, and he has made 17 league appearances, scoring once. Fenerbahçe view his potential return as a key step in strengthening their defensive depth for the next phase of the project, believing his profile and familiarity with the club could provide an immediate boost to their backline.
