Coughlin cruises to third LPGA crown

Lauren Coughlin sealed a commanding victory at the Aramco Championship, completing a wire‑to‑wire performance with an even‑par 72 to secure her third LPGA title. Her closing birdie at the 18th capped a composed week on the demanding Shadow Creek layout in Las Vegas, where swirling winds kept scores high throughout the tournament.

Coughlin’s seven‑under total of 281 left her five shots clear of world No. 2 Nelly Korda and Northern Ireland’s Leona Maguire. Korda, who began the final round two strokes back, struggled to a three‑over 75, salvaging her only birdie at the last. Maguire climbed the leaderboard with a steady one‑under 71 to join Korda at two‑under.

Japan’s Miyu Yamashita, who shared the opening‑round lead, finished fourth after a two‑over 74 for a one‑under total. They were the only players to finish under par after a week defined by gusting winds and relentless pressure.
