Goretzka to leave Bayern: Milan and Inter monitoring, but Arsenal lead the race

Leon Goretzka is preparing to leave Bayern Munich at the end of the season, with his contract expiring in June and the club confirming he will depart on a free transfer. The 29‑year‑old midfielder has quickly become one of the most attractive opportunities on the summer market, drawing interest from several European sides. Inter and Milan have already made initial contact with his entourage, though both clubs are carefully evaluating the financial demands involved. Goretzka is seeking a net salary of around seven million euros, along with eight to ten million in signing bonuses and additional agent fees—an investment that would push the overall cost close to twenty million euros despite the free‑transfer status.

Competition is fierce, and according to *Bild*, Arsenal currently lead the race. The Premier League club had explored a deal in January and are well positioned to meet the player’s requests. Goretzka reportedly views the Gunners as his preferred destination, while Milan and Inter remain attentive to any opening.
