European giants circle Al‑Ittihad’s Diaby

Moussa Diaby’s future is becoming one of the early storylines of the upcoming transfer window, with several major European clubs preparing to test Al‑Ittihad’s resolve. The French winger, who has impressed in Jeddah this season, is reportedly attracting renewed interest from clubs eager to bring him back to Europe.

German sides Borussia Dortmund and RB Leipzig are said to be evaluating a move, encouraged by Diaby’s previous Bundesliga success with Bayer Leverkusen. Transfer insider Ekrem Konur reports that the race is widening, with Atlético Madrid, Liverpool and Newcastle United also monitoring the situation closely.

Diaby has delivered a productive campaign for Al‑Ittihad, featuring in 33 matches across competitions. He has scored three goals and supplied an impressive 33 assists, establishing himself as one of the team’s most influential attacking players.

With multiple clubs preparing bids, a fierce contest is expected should Diaby decide the time is right for a European return.
