2026 MotoGP Test Calendar: full schedule revealed

MotoGP approaches the definitive season of its current technical regulations before the dramatic 2027 revolution brings 850cc engines, prohibited ride-height devices, and limited aerodynamics. The confirmed schedule features five key days of testing prior to the Buriram kickoff. On-track action starts at the Sepang Shakedown in late January, exclusive to test riders and concession-holder Yamaha.

These three days are highly critical for debutant Toprak Razgatlioglu and Fabio Quartararo. The Frenchman urgently seeks positive feedback from the Yamaha V4; otherwise, he will immediately enter the transfer market. The complete grid eventually unites in Kuala Lumpur for official sessions from February 3-5. Afterward, teams travel to Thailand’s Buriram circuit for final preparations on February 21-22.

This track serves as the ultimate rehearsal, hosting the season-opening Grand Prix shortly after, from February 27 to March 1, launching what promises to be an intense, transitional championship campaign.
