Uncertainty Looms as Goldenglue Prepares 100 Thieves for Potential Last Dance

Amid rumors of 100 Thieves’ possible departure from League of Legends, head coach Greyson “Goldenglue” Gilmer faces a challenging task: preparing his inexperienced squad for a championship run in what could be the organization’s final stint. Speculation grew after Riot Games bought back its permanent partnership with the LCS, leaving 100 Thieves as a provisional guest. Despite these uncertainties, Goldenglue enters his second season as head coach with renewed confidence and strategic clarity, following a surprisingly successful debut year.

“The first year was about gaining confidence and learning to coach at the tier-one level,” Goldenglue told Dot Esports. “This season, I feel more sure of myself and have refined strategies tailored to this team.” As the LTA Split One approaches, Goldenglue remains focused on the present, aiming to make the most of what could be 100 Thieves’ final chapter in League.
