Roma are nearing an agreement with Gaetano Castrovilli

Gaetano Castrovilli's contract with Fiorentina is likely to expire, and Roma is close to reaching a deal with him. After having knee surgery, he recently scored his first goal in more than a year. Only 200 minutes hath he played this season, the most of which have been spent recovering. As per Radio Radio (via Calciomercato), the Giallorossi extended their invitation to join them for free. It goes without saying that the outcome of his medicals will be crucial in deciding whether or not he signs.

Lazio has shown some interest in Castrovilli in addition to Roma, although their rivals are now ahead. The midfield player was set to leave last summer, but after a serious knee injury was discovered during physical examinations, his transfer to Bournemouth was called off.
